Pollard died Wednesday of cardiac arrest at a Los Angeles hospital, his longtime buddy Daybreak Walker informed The Hollywood Reporter.
Pollard acquired an Academy Award nomination for his function as a gasoline station attendant turned confederate within the 1967 movie “Bonnie and Clyde.” He appeared in a number of tv reveals within the 1960s, together with “Star Trek” and “The Andy Griffith Present.”
“He was one of many first actors I knew I needed to work with as quickly as I received my first movie off the bottom. He might be missed,” Zombie mentioned.
Pollard is survived by his son and daughter.
